Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Bruno Fonso made the kick off and thus started the match. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. Adria Bielsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 9th minute of play. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 11th minute of the match. Omar Toledo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Higuita. Rene Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bruno Fonso sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Cosca in the 26th minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Fonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Hector Urtats hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Edgardo Cosca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Spain's Adria Bielsa to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Higuita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Adria Bielsa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Spain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adria Bielsa couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Bruno Fonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Bruno Fonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Club Ibiza made a substitution. Ştefan Vornicescu replaced Beliran Poblaciones. With a little luck, Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita got control of the ball when Omar Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Spain's Adria Bielsa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Higuita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Fonso's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Fonso in the 62nd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 66th minute of the match. Faustino Asprilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Faustino Asprilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Ibiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Asprilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. In the 86th minute, Xie Bin Wei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Faustino Asprilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. Many of Spain's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Spain may have spent more time on the ball, but Club Ibiza were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
