After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Carolo Chap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Carolo Chap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Erik Jilek. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Enclenques booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Rezek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Eutor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Dostal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Birila hit a great ball. Denis Dostal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Atarrabi having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Hector Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Rezek got free with Fidel Atarrabi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Enclenques were the better team. Enclenques's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
