When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Silverio Lluterio sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Candela FC the free kick. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Lluterio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Denmark booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olari Paukson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio. But to his dismay, Silverio Lluterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Kenn Skou made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bertram Svenningsen. 74 minutes into the game, Damian Servando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guaberto Bitxintxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Bitxintxo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Bitxintxo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Bitxintxo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Guaberto Bitxintxo sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Candela FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
