Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tampines Rovers Football's Sidnei Maciel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tampines Rovers Football's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Placido Gines in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Sidnei Maciel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. After 15 minutes, Horaţiu Diaconescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tampines Rovers Football and the ManagerZone Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horaţiu Diaconescu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Hidayat Rajah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ununger in the 19th minute of the match. Tampines Rovers Football's Hidayat Rajah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 33rd minute of play. Hidayat Rajah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Våleman in the 34th minute of the match. Hidayat Rajah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Linkhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Linkhorst made a kick off. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tampines Rovers Football's Sidnei Maciel. But to his dismay, Sidnei Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 57th minute, Horaţiu Diaconescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Armstrong was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by ManagerZone Crew's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Placido Gines was slow to take the kick. During this time Tampines Rovers Football's players had a chance to rest. In the 76th minute, Adrian Våleman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Schulle to maneuver through the defense. If Horaţiu Diaconescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Crew's Andreas Spante got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers Football's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Hidayat Rajah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Linkhorst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hidayat Rajah. That made the score 3-1 in the 91 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ManagerZone Crew players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tampines Rovers Football.
