In the 15th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosme Pere was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Cosme Pere however easily saved by the left post. Angelo Varela shot a long shot in the 19th minute and a light blocked Fodor Daniel hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Cosme Pere in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Cardoso spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hungary's goal. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Faas Gol came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Pere made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Aguias Praianas FC's Cosme Pere got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Angelo Varela fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguias Praianas FC's protests and gave Angelo Varela a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Válbson Botelho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Cosme Pere came out of the goal and Balazs Lajos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
