After 9 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ion Hidiș. In the 11th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Vlado Delchev. Newpi Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Newpi Academy's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Tonete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Guerrero got free with Arnout Reekers in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlado Delchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Otsando in the 38th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Alberto Tonete made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute of the match Newpi Academy got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Perrando ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eulalio Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Vlado Delchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Vlado Delchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Vlado Delchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Vlado Delchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tonete came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Newpi Academy's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlado Delchev came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Vlado Delchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Cornelio Guerrero got a free kick in the 79th minute. The Newpi Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
