The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovanildo Luis was the one to do the kick off. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Santos in the 95th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Mbaka N'Diaye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Italy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
