Horaţiu Diaconescu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Tampines Rovers Football's Sidnei Maciel in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Maciel in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Asiz Rajah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tampines Rovers Football's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. 43 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hidayat Rajah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers Football's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Hidayat Rajah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Maciel in the 58th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Sidnei Maciel made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Maciel in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Theis Winther. 77 minutes into the match, Sidnei Maciel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was beautiful to see Denmark's Chris Nygaard in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The Tampines Rovers Football support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
