The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Mitovski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rogério Mitovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuan Xing Lin in the 26th minute of play. Rogério Mitovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Jobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Mauro A Mare FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daud Kunaefi was slow to take the kick. During this time Gone With the Win's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Mauro A Mare FC's goalie and right to Alan Everett. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Mauro A Mare FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. La Mano made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Francesco Cremonese sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuan Xing Lin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Riso, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rogério Mitovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keiran Tubbs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Abel Gasparyan replaced Augusto Riso. In the 59th minute Gone With the Win were awarded a corner. Daud Kunaefi went to the cornerflag to take it. La Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Berardini in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Gone With the Win were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant San Mauro A Mare FC side.
