Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Gazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzalp Yetiş. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Benedicto Bihar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 23rd minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Espírito Santo came free, but Batıkan Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Benedicto Bihar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 42 minutes into the game, Agamenón do Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus PTM the free kick. Agamenón do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Vidar Albäck struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Batıkan Muhsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus PTM. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Mihalcea in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Espírito Santo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Juventus PTM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Viera to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes in the game Vidar Albäck after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Batıkan Muhsin. A very good opportunity. Armando Gazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Bihar's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Juventus PTM's Osvaldinho Messias was substituted for Alex Acatincăi. Juventus PTM's Petre Mitică was substituted for Patrick Viera. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seçkin Öksüzoğlu in the 69th minute. In the 80th minute Osvaldinho Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benedicto Bihar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Bihar couldn't finish the play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Lorenzo James was substituted for Seçkin Öksüzoğlu. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Benedicto Bihar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nicu Ilieș in the 88 minute of the game. Cristinel Mihalcea made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yenal Tanır. Armando Gazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Messias in the 96th minute of play.
