GUSESI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Dawiec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the game, one of FK Raudonieji Velniai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Basri Tanyeli shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Olgierd Dawiec sped through FK Raudonieji Velniai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Šarūnas Danaitis. In the 13th minute Ovidio Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šarūnas Danaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Šarūnas Danaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Dawiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Šarūnas Danaitis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Favila's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 0-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Olgierd Dawiec elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Šarūnas Danaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olgierd Dawiec struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Šarūnas Danaitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GUSESI. Šarūnas Danaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Olgierd Dawiec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GUSESI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Olgierd Dawiec sped through FK Raudonieji Velniai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Šarūnas Danaitis. Olgierd Dawiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Šarūnas Danaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GUSESI's Andrzej Karaszkiewicz got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olgierd Dawiec to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Favila in the 54th minute of play forced FK Raudonieji Velniai's goalkeeper Šarūnas Danaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ovidio Favila put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Šarūnas Danaitis. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Luis Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUSESI's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Šarūnas Danaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes, Luis Tonete made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. FK Raudonieji Velniai's Šarūnas Danaitis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrzej Karaszkiewicz during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Ovidio Favila made a precise shot to the right of Šarūnas Danaitis. FK Raudonieji Velniai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Olgierd Dawiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Šarūnas Danaitis made a huge save. Šarūnas Danaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Ederono. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ovidio Favila took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Šarūnas Danaitis to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded GUSESI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FK Raudonieji Velniai.
