Batıkan Muhsin came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by GUSESI's Luis Tonete. But to his dismay, Luis Tonete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 22 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Ederono. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 23rd minute of play. Benedicto Bihar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Benedicto Bihar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Tonete in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Bihar was the one to do the kick off. In the 97th match minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Bihar to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were victorious despite being under pressure from GUSESI for much of the match.
