Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atilla Açıkalın took the kick off in the first half of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Šarūnas Danaitis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 7 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Šarūnas Danaitis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Mustafa İzzet Hazer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Atilla Açıkalın came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla Açıkalın couldn't finish the play. Šarūnas Danaitis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Bokelund in the 15th minute. Šarūnas Danaitis came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın. But to his dismay, Atilla Açıkalın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilla Açıkalın got free with Šarūnas Danaitis in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Raudonieji Velniai's goalkeeper Šarūnas Danaitis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, FK Raudonieji Velniai's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Açıkalın came free, but Šarūnas Danaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stórólfur Xenopanagos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Šarūnas Danaitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 33rd minute of play forced FK Raudonieji Velniai's goalkeeper Šarūnas Danaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Bokelund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Šarūnas Danaitis made a huge save. Napoleon Podolski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FK Raudonieji Velniai defense, Atilla Açıkalın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Šarūnas Danaitis. The FK Raudonieji Velniai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Šarūnas Danaitis should have stopped the shot. Šarūnas Danaitis made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Atilla Açıkalın sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renatas Sutkus was the one to do the kick off. When Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Raudonieji Velniai's goalie prevented a goal. Šarūnas Danaitis came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın. But to his dismay, Atilla Açıkalın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Raudonieji Velniai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kurtuluş Senih was slow to take the kick. During this time Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Napoleon Podolski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Šarūnas Danaitis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Açıkalın's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC made a substitution. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp replaced Ulf Bokelund. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll was substituted for Atilla Açıkalın. If Kasper Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Kasper Häll ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Šarūnas Danaitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 91st minute, Stórólfur Xenopanagos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
