Bubu Denat might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jyrki Airisto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bubu Denat ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granville's goalkeeper Jyrki Airisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bubu Denat took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jyrki Airisto. Jyrki Airisto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's David Ballester got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's attentive Antoni Villarroel managed to snatch the ball when Aarno Reijonen made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. When Bubu Denat came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bubu Denat couldn't finish the play. Granville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Bubu Denat scored to the left of an out of position Jyrki Airisto, making the score, 6-0. The supporters of Granville booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesc Pla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Antoni Villarroel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Indalecio during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bubu Denat took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jyrki Airisto. Jyrki Airisto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jyrki Airisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bubu Denat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jyrki Airisto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bubu Denat's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Federico Zanetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Zanetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bubu Denat made a kick off. Jyrki Airisto came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat. But to his dismay, Bubu Denat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When Gică Popescu came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gică Popescu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aarno Reijonen hit a great ball. Jyrki Airisto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bubu Denat went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Jyrki Airisto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jyrki Airisto came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat. But to his dismay, Bubu Denat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 19-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fully deserved thier win.
