With an all-out effort, North Port UTD's Aleksey Goldshtein threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Alwege, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by JK raamatuid.ee's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Alwege was slow to take the kick. During this time North Port UTD's players had a chance to rest. When Quico Leyva fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Port UTD's protests and gave Quico Leyva a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes North Port UTD got a freekick which was hit by Quico Leyva. 21 minutes into the match, JK raamatuid.ee's goalkeeper Aleksey Goldshtein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Alwege. After having played for 22 minutes, Jacek Waselewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK raamatuid.ee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Waselewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, JK raamatuid.ee's Aleksey Goldshtein got control of the ball when Lucas Alwege tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Rosario Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geofredo Fox was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aleksey Goldshtein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Deniz Danış in the 30th minute of the match. Aleksey Goldshtein came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Alwege slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. Dumitru Enoaia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Aleksey Goldshtein 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Aron Lipp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacek Waselewicz was the one to do the kick off.
