Salvador Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Nataniel in the 21st minute of play. Salvador Lazcano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Nataniel went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Salvador Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Laurendi in the 40th minute of play forced Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Nataniel came free, but Salvador Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.
