The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 38th minute of the match, Nereo Admon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alaaddin Solskjær was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 41 minutes into the game, Christian Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quemeros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurdistan the free kick. Christian Torres hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Admon was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Quemeros defense, Roni Ronaldinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yıldıray Akaltan. The Quemeros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yıldıray Akaltan should have stopped the shot. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren was substituted for Lars Sundström. FC Kurdistan's Iwan Kasiewski was substituted for Yin Yun Fan. Quemeros's Yıldıray Akaltan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Quemeros from getting a goal against them. Yıldıray Akaltan was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Elliot Nordgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elliot Nordgren really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Quemeros's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Yıldıray Akaltan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yıldıray Akaltan made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Elliot Nordgren sent off a good shot on target. FC Kurdistan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
