Daniel Regis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Karl-Erik Norström 17 minutes into the match. If Kevin Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Savas Iosifakis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fabiofs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savas Iosifakis couldn't finish the play. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savas Iosifakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Ronaldinho Molski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fabiofs and the Skövde AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fabiofs's Ronaldinho Molski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chen Ao Fan to make the kick off. Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joãozinho Trints in the 70th minute of the match. Kevin Keegan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Alexander Hegg made a huge save. Alexander Hegg came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan. But to his dismay, Kevin Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 80 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Savas Iosifakis came free, but Karl-Erik Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Håkan Kruse hit a great ball. Alexander Hegg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chen Ao Fan's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Filip Brolin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Norström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goalkeeper Alexander Hegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Keegan. The Skövde AIK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fabiofs from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
