Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Bilintx didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 4th minute. Sporting de Gijón's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Matias Bilintx's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Mieszko Karanowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 8 minutes Marzagão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saturnino Curcio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Saturnino Curcio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mieszko Karanowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Mieszko Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Alexandre Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marzagão and the Sporting de Gijón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Alexandre Alves got a free kick in the 14th minute. Mieszko Karanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Curcio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Marzagão's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Saturnino Curcio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mieszko Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 16th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Matias Bilintx took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mieszko Karanowski to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Curcio got free with Mieszko Karanowski in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Mieszko Karanowski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Matias Bilintx in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sporting de Gijón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saturnino Curcio in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on Sporting de Gijón's corner Saturnino Curcio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mieszko Karanowski quite easily take care of the ball. Mieszko Karanowski made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Matias Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Diego Maradona took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mieszko Karanowski to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute, Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mieszko Karanowski. Mieszko Karanowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Saturnino Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mieszko Karanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sporting de Gijón fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 45 minutes into the game, Sporting de Gijón's Saturnino Curcio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mieszko Karanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Mieszko Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Maradona in the 48th minute.

In the 52nd minute, Diego Maradona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Rufo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Matias Bilintx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mieszko Karanowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, Diego Maradona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mieszko Karanowski. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Maradona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Maradona in the 65th minute of play. Mieszko Karanowski came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Diego Maradona. But to his dismay, Diego Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Sporting de Gijón's Mario Zanabria was substituted for Saturnino Curcio. 72 minutes into the game, Sporting de Gijón's Mario Zanabria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mieszko Karanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Pedro Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzagão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Venancio Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting de Gijón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Mario Zanabria scored 13-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mieszko Karanowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Maradona in the 87th minute of play. If Rune Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sporting de Gijón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
