In the 10th minute, Jochen Gijselinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Olof Åkesson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Bernard Fedosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Čačak in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes Beto Martini MZ 20 years's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Gareca who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Čačak during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Åkesson in the 19th minute of play. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Gijselinx in the 21st minute of play. Cacá Čačak hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochen Gijselinx in the 24th minute of the match. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Denver's zone, Virgílio Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Gary came out of the goal and Virgílio Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Chuttur Lønge put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eric Gary. In the 33rd minute, Jochen Gijselinx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Gary was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 40th minute, Chuttur Lønge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feyyaz Baştuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gary having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Majdoch got free with Bernard Fedosz in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá Čačak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Beto Martini MZ 20 years got a freekick which was hit by Arya Stark. Jochen Gijselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Jagiellonia Denver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Majdoch to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's Viorel Olaru got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eric Gary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feyyaz Baştuğ in the 64th minute. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when Beto Martini MZ 20 years was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jagiellonia Denver's Özalp Durkaya was substituted for Florence Diaz. After a rather tough play, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Luisinho Carneiro got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hélio Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Fedosz having to interfere. The corner ended in Per-Olof Åkesson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz did a great save. Ciro Innocenzio's late challenge caught a Jagiellonia Denver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Innocenzio helped the player get up and apologised. Bernard Fedosz had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Ricardo Gareca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. Venceslas Borizar replaced Viorel Olaru. Cacá Čačak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bernard Fedosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jagiellonia Denver's 林邦瑜 was substituted for Ricardo Gareca. Hélio Donatello struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bernard Fedosz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Denver. In the 91st minute Per-Olof Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Fedosz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 林邦瑜 in the 92nd minute of play forced Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalkeeper Bernard Fedosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Fedosz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Čačak in the 95th minute of play forced Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalkeeper Bernard Fedosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Bernard Fedosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Martini MZ 20 years succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jagiellonia Denver had controlled the match.
