The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vladimiro Hitzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Vencedor FC's attack was well implemented in the 11th minute, but when Ricardo Hotz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Yves Dervaux. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Hitzeder having to make a save. Real Vencedor FC's Vladimiro Hitzeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Real Vencedor FC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Siebe Michiels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Edward Vanderstraeten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vladimiro Hitzeder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Real Vencedor FC's Vladimiro Hitzeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Real Vencedor FC from getting a goal against them. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Doga in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Vencedor FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. Ricardo Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Vandamme. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Real Vencedor FC's Vladimiro Hitzeder. Vladimiro Hitzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute of the game Edgard Rocendo made a throw-in which Dumitru Doga played forward. Vladimiro Hitzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Ricardo Hotz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 2-1. Edgard Rocendo's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Rocendo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Belgium booed when Real Vencedor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Ricardo Hotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Ricardo Hotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Hitzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 80th minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Doga came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Doga in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Real Vencedor FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Rocendo. Nigel Devos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Edgard Rocendo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Vencedor FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Belgium.
