After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Grzegorz Bierfass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Grzegorz Bierfass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Grzegorz Bierfass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Sotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Zhuo Xuan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 44th minute of play. Grzegorz Bierfass took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Grzegorz Bierfass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Bierfass in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobías Izamit was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Chillán's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tobías Izamit almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Rickard Erserman replaced Samuel Abel. 61 minutes into the game, Tobías Izamit threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Germany booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Izamit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Fernán Chiquillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inter de Chillán's Fernán Chiquillo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Willy Stieler, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 76th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janik Vogt during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eladio Araujo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Eladio Araujo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After 92 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Fernán Chiquillo. In the 94th minute Eladio Araujo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 95th minute. Inter de Chillán's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
