Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 33 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Stor. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pucho defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk. The Deportivo Pucho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Józef Mlynarczyk should have stopped the shot. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Netherlands were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the last second Józef Mlynarczyk throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Józef Mlynarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Józef Mlynarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Deportivo Pucho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Józef Mlynarczyk quite easily take care of the ball. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Deportivo Pucho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this Józef Mlynarczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Julio Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Deportivo Pucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Tolino couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Deportivo Pucho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Józef Mlynarczyk in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Józef Mlynarczyk having to make a save. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Józef Mlynarczyk made a huge save. Józef Mlynarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-4 when David Eikelkamp sped through Deportivo Pucho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk. David Eikelkamp scored 2-5 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Józef Mlynarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Józef Mlynarczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 94th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Pucho.
