Denmark's Mikkel Wulff managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aquiles Guerrero in the 7 minute of the game. Jonas Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Godfredo Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Timo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute of play. When Bertram Svenningsen came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Figueroa in the 42nd minute. Theis Winther's late challenge caught a Rufián's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theis Winther helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Timo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Mikkel Wulff. But to his dismay, Mikkel Wulff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Arnulfo Otsando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Arnulfo Otsando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Otsando in the 55th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Figueroa in the 56th minute of play. Fabian Timo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chris Nygaard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Jonas Figueroa made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 83rd minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Benedicto Evangelista notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Arnulfo Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Lars Steen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Timo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Rufián's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Fabian Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rufián's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
