An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th minute of play forced ASI NOMAS FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Rava to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciccio Rava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ciccio Rava made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Belgium's Ciccio Rava threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yves Dervaux, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute Felipe Mexia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciccio Rava made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 14th minute. The supporters of Belgium booed when ASI NOMAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heino Gaunbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Yves Dervaux made a precise shot to the right of Ciccio Rava. ASI NOMAS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Felipe Mexia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Ciccio Rava in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Fernandez Urdaneta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciccio Rava firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Mexia in the 34th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Mexia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Lenny Clocheret got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASI NOMAS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Nigel Devos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciccio Rava quite easily take care of the ball. ASI NOMAS FC's Ciccio Rava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Rava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umea Villaseñor. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Mexia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siebe Michiels hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. ASI NOMAS FC made a substitution. Carlos Bueno replaced Felipe Mexia. After 80 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Siebe Michiels. 91 minutes into the game, Carlos Bueno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
