Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas-Armando Giunta in the 34th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Quintan. Cieneguita AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ruperto Quintan made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. After 46 minutes Cieneguita AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Blas-Armando Giunta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Quintan having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Cleiton Brasil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Cleiton Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Brasil in the 67th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Quintan saved Cieneguita AFC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Ruperto Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas-Armando Giunta got free with Fodor Daniel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cieneguita AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Humberto Gomesano in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Humberto Gomesano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruperto Quintan quite easily take care of the ball. After 80 played minutes Cieneguita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Gomesano. Cleiton Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas-Armando Giunta got free with Fodor Daniel in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ildefonso Gamus charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Gamus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Ildefonso Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Cieneguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Gamus to maneuver through the defense. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
