The referee ignored AntraX FDP.'s protests and gave Gonzalo Plata a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AntraX FDP.'s Gonzalo Plata got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AntraX FDP.'s zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Ocariz came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leonides Ocariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Leonides Ocariz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Leonides Ocariz however easily saved by the left post. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Plata, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Lucas Gallaiztegui kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Segio Colon charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segio Colon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when AntraX FDP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segio Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, AntraX FDP.'s Leonides Ocariz got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Leonides Ocariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AntraX FDP.'s Leonides Ocariz. Leonides Ocariz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonides Ocariz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Leonides Ocariz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leonides Ocariz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 80th minute of play forced AntraX FDP.'s goalkeeper Leonides Ocariz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AntraX FDP.'s Leonides Ocariz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 80th minute of play. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ocariz having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, AntraX FDP.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Leonides Ocariz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Cantillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
