Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Bernabe Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 16th minute of play. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dariusz Nikodemski sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Bernabe Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute.
