After having played for 6 minutes, Lucas Grijander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciruel Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Grijander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Grijander could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. Lucas Grijander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Lucas Grijander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Grijander got free with Tommy Kahn in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Pedro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 64 minutes, Lucas Grijander made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Grijander in the 70th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Grijander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciruel Academy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
