After some careless play in the Cavallino Rampante II defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Fe. The Cavallino Rampante II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Fe should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Cavallino Rampante II booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Cutri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Ivo Oja sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Polentzi lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Italy. Sigfrido Auletta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernesto Fe. 0-2. Ernesto Fe came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Auletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Fe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavallino Rampante II's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sigfrido Auletta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe did a great save. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Shu Ming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Matai made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jonas Olivar however managed to control. When Candido Garin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavallino Rampante II's protests and gave Candido Garin a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Cavallino Rampante II got a freekick which was hit by Candido Garin. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Ernesto Fe made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cavallino Rampante II from getting a goal against them. Hu Shu Ming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianpaolo Mascari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ernesto Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Italy's Siricio Liotta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Fe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 62nd minute, Hu Shu Ming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Matai made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonas Olivar immediately put the ball in play. Cavallino Rampante II's Yan Hui Feng was substituted for Candido Garin. 74 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Shu Ming came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Ivo Oja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy made a substitution. Hu Shu Ming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
