Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Faas Wilkes made the kick off which started today's match. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 10th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Tage Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Sigfrido Auletta notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Indalecio in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Vykans Vikingar got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Indalecio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jose Indalecio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faas Wilkes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Christoffer Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute of the match, Alessandro Micucci tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Vittori saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Micucci in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marcus Ekrot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Jose Indalecio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Italy were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 54th minute. Faas Wilkes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faas Wilkes in the 61st minute of the match. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Tage Glanselius made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Alessandro Micucci got a free kick in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faas Wilkes in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute Faas Wilkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Italy made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Marcus Ekrot in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Porziano Marchitelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Porziano Marchitelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siricio Liotta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Italy's Eliseo Cutri getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
