Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Club Universidad Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Gimlinge. When Alf Trydeman fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Universidad Nacional's protests and gave Alf Trydeman a yellow card for diving instead. Alf Trydeman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Steffen Gimlinge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Steffen Gimlinge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Steffen Gimlinge really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Steffen Gimlinge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Universidad Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Gimlinge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steffen Gimlinge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Steffen Gimlinge slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 29th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Steffen Gimlinge came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Universidad Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffen Gimlinge couldn't finish the play. Steffen Gimlinge came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. In the 46th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Steffen Gimlinge made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 52nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Universidad Nacional's Steffen Gimlinge. But to his dismay, Steffen Gimlinge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Club Universidad Nacional made a substitution. Feliciano Frans replaced Steffen Gimlinge. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Feliciano Frans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Frans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 69 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Frans came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Mede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Holweck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Germany's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Feliciano Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Feliciano Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chris Mergenthaler got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frank Sachs. Feliciano Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Frans came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Universidad Nacional.
