Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play. When Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Leonard Käller's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Käller helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Leonard Käller got a free kick in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Sonny Perkins took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Sonny Perkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Sonny Perkins scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Cote hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Quetzal Flyers Hammers were awarded a corner. Mark Noble went to the cornerflag to take it. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Perkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Germany's Janik Vogt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mark Noble, made in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quetzal Flyers Hammers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. In the 59th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Leonard Käller hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Cote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Quetzal Flyers Hammers booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Schwerner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's Willy Stieler quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anibal Haritzeder, made in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Sonny Perkins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tony Cote managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Cote was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Anibal Haritzeder got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Francesco Marines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Quetzal Flyers Hammers from getting a goal against them. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Leonard Käller got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Leonard Käller off the ground. In the 93rd match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Käller to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 97th minute, Mark Noble got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Quetzal Flyers Hammers fully deserved thier win.
