Arsenio Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaden Hutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaden Hutton in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's Aaden Hutton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Valentin Vergaray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Kåre Uter suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Vergaray in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaden Hutton in the 53rd minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Arsenio Cordeal made a huge save. In the 65th minute Aaden Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. That made the score 3-1 after 79 minutes of play. 90 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Tuzzio came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Plebeyos booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaden Hutton in the 94th minute of play. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Plebeyos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
