Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Kurdwanów FC's Xavion Chavarri got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Kurdwanów FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xavion Chavarri made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavion Chavarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kurdwanów FC's Xavion Chavarri got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldemar Karanowski took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Zachariasz Sniegowski made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Waldemar Karanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 36th minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Karanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Xavion Chavarri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute of play forced Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Karanowski to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Kurdwanów FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Xavion Chavarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 58th minute of play forced Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavion Chavarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Kurdwanów FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Gall to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 65th minute of play forced Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavion Chavarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kurdwanów FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kurdwanów FC's Xavion Chavarri did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Eikelkamp in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavion Chavarri saved Kurdwanów FC from getting behind. A collision led to Kurdwanów FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Waldemar Karanowski hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Kurdwanów FC got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Puzio. After some careless play in the Kurdwanów FC defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavion Chavarri. The Kurdwanów FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavion Chavarri should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavion Chavarri. Kurdwanów FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kurdwanów FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Netherlands.
