Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Arsenio Cordeal in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Cordeal having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's Aaden Hutton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Plebeyos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Kostadinov in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Plebeyos's Carlos Monzón got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Plebeyos defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. The Plebeyos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Cordeal should have stopped the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Cordeal having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaden Hutton in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaden Hutton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the game Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in which Lars Meesters played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Vergaray got free with Arnout Reekers in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Kostadinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Vergaray in the 64th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaden Hutton in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Vergaray. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 73rd minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 76th minute of the match. Plebeyos's Paulino Diegotxe was substituted for Carlos Monzón. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's Eduardo Tuzzio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaden Hutton in the 91st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. Emil Kostadinov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Plebeyos to leave the ground with a draw.
