In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolás Villamil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 22nd minute of the match. Nicolás Villamil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Manolito Macías hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Siebe Michiels came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siebe Michiels couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Soto Tapia during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, CSD Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Soto Tapia to maneuver through the defense. The CSD Concepción players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Damazy Warka managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Warka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 84th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CSD Concepción's Nicolás Villamil got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, CSD Concepción's Manuel Antonio Amenábar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Baltazar Vasconcelos got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Calixto Urquidi. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 96th minute of the match. The CSD Concepción players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
