Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Nelson Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Haedo in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Roberto Bueldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Bueldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rickard Soned hit a great ball. Alfredo Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo. But to his dismay, Nelson Haedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Haedo. In the 38th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casper Claes. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. Alfredo Aguilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelson Haedo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar got control of the ball when Lenny Clocheret tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Haedo in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Club Olimpia got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denis Inestrosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Denis Inestrosa made a great header on Club Olimpia's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Alfredo Aguilar made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Haedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 73rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Aguilar having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nelson Haedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Olimpia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Club Olimpia made a substitution. Roque Gora replaced Luís Fernando Duarte. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Inestrosa went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Haedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Aguilar having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Haedo came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpia from getting a goal against them.
