CA Boca Jrs MdP's Isaias Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Diego Cagna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Boca Jrs MdP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Baldomero Justin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The referee gave Netherlands a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales. 2-0. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 played minutes CA Boca Jrs MdP got a freekick which was hit by Candido Ferman. In the 98th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Gonzales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Netherlands fans cheered their team off the field, for while CA Boca Jrs MdP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
