Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Croatia's Toni Mauzer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Dinko Stankovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bosak. Dinko Stankovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Toni Mauzer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Proteu's Dida Dantas. Dida Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Proteu's Ezequiel Tasso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Neven Culina, made in the 11th minute of the game. Dida Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Mauzer in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damir Pongrac in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Proteu's Ezequiel Tasso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Neven Culina in the 16 minute of the game. Teo Gudelj made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Proteu's Evandro Guedes. The throw-in from Teo Gudelj in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Proteu's Joel Linares. After a rather tough play, Proteu's Eriberto Fonseca got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Croatia's Martin Bosak in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Proteu's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 minutes of play, Croatia's Dinko Stankovic made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Toni Mauzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Dantas was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovani Velloso during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Proteu getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Geovani Velloso hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Proteu's goal looked a bit too open when Dinko Stankovic came free, but Dida Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damir Pongrac in the 32nd minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Dida Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Eduard Kostelac in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Proteu's Evandro Guedes. If Joel Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Benjamin Domazet threw the ball into play from the sideline. Proteu's Eriberto Fonseca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benjamin Domazet got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toni Mauzer. After a rather tough play, Proteu's Geovani Velloso got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ronaldinho Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Peixoto in the 56th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Silvije Santek with Toni Mauzer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dida Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Silvije Santek made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Neven Culina however managed to control. Dida Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinko Stankovic got free with Dida Dantas in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvije Santek made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dinko Stankovic however managed to control. Proteu's Dida Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damir Pongrac in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes in the game Silvije Santek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Neven Culina. In the 74th minute Toni Mauzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Eriberto Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Proteu's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Proteu's Geovani Velloso got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Geovani Velloso off the ground. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Proteu! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Croatia. Toni Mauzer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dida Dantas. 0-3. Dida Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Mauzer in the 85th minute of play. Dida Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Bosak, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Proteu's goalkeeper Dida Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinko Stankovic. Proteu's Dida Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Proteu from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Ramos to maneuver through the defense.
