An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 27th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Mamutes EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Dave Panno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Panno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valério Meireles was slow to take the kick. During this time Mamutes EC's players had a chance to rest. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Dave Panno struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamutes EC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 57th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Dave Panno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamutes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Mamutes EC's Aírton Freire was substituted for Joélson Leme. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Panno in the 65th minute of the match. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Panno in the 69th minute of play. Floris Claeys made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mamutes EC's 武岩然. 76 minutes into the match, Dave Panno notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dave Panno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. The ball had pretty good speed, but Magno Correia firmly grabbed it by the left post.
