In the 22nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. FC Štitáre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of FC Štitáre booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Major Barna in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nigel Tamminga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the match, FC Štitáre's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Nigel Tamminga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Nigel Tamminga however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Älämdar Känanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Štitáre and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Štitáre! Nigel Tamminga had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 53rd minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 59th minute.
