After 44 played minutes, Falckner FC's Domingo Gimenez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falckner FC reached it. After 46 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Kiliz. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Falckner FC's Urmet Rammu got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Urmet Rammu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Gabrio in the 58th minute of play. Urmet Rammu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urmet Rammu. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Falckner FC made a substitution. Urbano Shantala replaced Aquilino Rozarius. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Urmet Rammu in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Urmet Rammu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Jose Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands played a much better game than Falckner FC and deserved their victory. The Falckner FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
