Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki kicked off to start the match. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Dan Saville ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki in the 14th minute of the match. Manchester City were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geoffrey De Bougne took the corner. The corner ended in Geoffrey De Bougne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 18th minute Dan Saville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Saville, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. In the 42nd minute of the match Geoffrey De Bougne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Dylon Sedgemore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manchester City made a substitution. Tommy Bedford replaced Dan Saville. The supporters of Germany booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylon Sedgemore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Mergenthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Anthony Carey notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Anthony Carey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Carey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Carey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Manchester City were awarded a corner. Geoffrey De Bougne went to the cornerflag to take it. When Anthony Carey came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Carey couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Tommy Kahn, was totally fooled by Manchester City's Geoffrey De Bougne, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Peter Avery kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Anthony Carey scored 0-7 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Pearce was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 94th minute. Barrie Fleming succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 97th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Manchester City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Germany.
