Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taner Tuğkan in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Switzerland booed when CİCERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taner Tuğkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Taner Tuğkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. CİCERO's supporters rose to their feet, but Taner Tuğkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Taner Tuğkan in the 14 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Mustafa Hamit Saye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Taner Tuğkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Taner Tuğkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Mustafa Hamit Saye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Hamit Saye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taner Tuğkan in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Orsini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taner Tuğkan in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match CİCERO got a corner. Switzerland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mustafa Hamit Saye ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mustafa Hamit Saye almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Switzerland's Hias Nüssli did a great save. Samuele Kunz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Saye in the 37th minute of play. Rodrigo von Känel charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo von Känel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taner Tuğkan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. If Mustafa Hamit Saye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Samuele Kunz hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuele Kunz to strike the kick off in the second half. Ennio Orsini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Hamit Saye got free with Hias Nüssli in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 68 in the game by Mustafa Hamit Saye from a close distance when the talented Hias Nüssli managed to make a qualified save. Switzerland's players were relieved. CİCERO made a substitution. Ahmet Necdet Yunus replaced Taner Tuğkan. Turgay Zaim made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer. The supporters of Switzerland booed when CİCERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geri Zekai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CİCERO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CİCERO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
