Bernard Sierocki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. São Paulo da Floresta's Reynaldo Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jean Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. Reynaldo Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Fernandez came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 25th minute of play forced São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Sierocki. In the 36th minute, Bernard Sierocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 39th minute of play forced São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernard Sierocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's João Pedro Campidelis got a free kick in the 56th minute. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Reynaldo Maia made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jonas Imre sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Reynaldo Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Katona Janos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Imre might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Imre ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes in the game Bakos Endre did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Major Barna. In the 77th minute, São Paulo da Floresta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Imre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Bakos Endre in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by São Paulo da Floresta's Washington Ortiz. The supporters of Hungary booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Sierocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Reynaldo Maia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Major Barna had several of the São Paulo da Floresta's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Reynaldo Maia as he didn't even see the shot coming. 89 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. The supporters of Hungary booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Major Barna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reynaldo Maia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hungary played a much better game than São Paulo da Floresta and deserved their victory. The São Paulo da Floresta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
