Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Warner Anaya kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Perez. Persepolis F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Arden Poulin took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Santos Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 10th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Perez. Santos Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Santos Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Persepolis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kory Saunders to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Perez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Lars Meesters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arden Poulin in the 36th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Persepolis F.C.'s corner Dominic Delgado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 40th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Persepolis F.C.'s goalie and right to Egbert Nijveldt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Persepolis F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Egbert Nijveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egbert Nijveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Persepolis F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arden Poulin in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Santos Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warner Anaya in the 66th minute of play. Santos Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Santos Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santos Perez. That made the score 1-5 in the 73 minute of play. In the 76th minute Arden Poulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Santos Perez in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Persepolis F.C.'s Gwidon Seliga got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santos Perez could save by the left post. Persepolis F.C. made a substitution. Léopold Castro replaced Warner Anaya. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
