Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Te Pito o Te Henua's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Hanni came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Germany booed when Te Pito o Te Henua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Bidari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Bidari in the 18th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Jimeno Bidari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Hanni was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Te Pito o Te Henua's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Bidari made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Te Pito o Te Henua's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Candido Hanni made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Germany's Sven Krakouer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven Krakouer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Germany protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven Krakouer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 64 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tommy Kahn had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Prospero Abarca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Te Pito o Te Henua's Jimeno Bidari in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tommy Kahn guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Bidari's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Canor in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Bidari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Jonathan Xabier came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Te Pito o Te Henua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Xabier couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Bidari in the 79th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Te Pito o Te Henua's Jimeno Bidari managed to work through Germany's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jimeno Bidari dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Bidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Jimeno Bidari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Bidari in the 87th minute of play. Te Pito o Te Henua's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
