After 31 played minutes Tiburones Pacufantásticos got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Tajo. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Tiburones Pacufantásticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Svatopluk Capek got a free kick in the 37th minute. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thepchai Raksawong in the 43rd minute of play. Erik Jilek struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hector Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Czech Republic. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thepchai Raksawong, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Thepchai Raksawong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Rami during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Tiburones Pacufantásticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Rami to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thepchai Raksawong couldn't finish the play. If Thepchai Raksawong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Tiburones Pacufantásticos were the better team. Tiburones Pacufantásticos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
