Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Olin Munster with Daron Keen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute of play. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olin Munster got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Quinton Marcheterre. In the 24th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Bueno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Olin Munster, made in the 27th minute of the game. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 32nd minute of play. After 32nd play minutes Zaccheo Andolina shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Abel Bueno and just under the crossbar into goal. Olin Munster got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Quinton Marcheterre. 36 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Keen came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Olin Munster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Alfonzo Davidson replaced Gary Thomason. In the 48th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olin Munster to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Italy booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Caio da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Bueno saved Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting behind. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 73rd minute of play. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Adriano Curto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Curto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Curto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guiscardo Davide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sostene Vitulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
